This practical and interactive workshop is designed for Internal Committee members who want to strengthen their understanding of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and build greater confidence in handling POSH-related responsibilities, complaints and inquiries.
The workshop will be conducted by experienced facilitators from Equilibrio Advisory LLP, who bring practical experience in working on POSH matters, conducting inquiries and training various stakeholders on the implementation of the POSH Act.
The facilitators will cover key aspects of the Internal Committee’s role and responsibilities, including understanding the POSH framework, handling complaints, conducting inquiries, following due process, maintaining confidentiality, documentation, and dealing with practical complexities that may arise during the inquiry process.
The workshop is designed to provide participants with practical insights and tools that can be applied in their role as Internal Committee members.

Introduction
You know the POSH Act. But do you know what to do when the law meets a real complaint?
What happens when there are no messages, no recordings and no witnesses?
What if both parties give completely different versions of the same incident?
What if a consensual relationship turns contentious? Or the alleged conduct happens over WhatsApp, Instagram, at an office party or outside the traditional workplace?
And when the evidence is ambiguous, how does an IC distinguish between evidence, assumption and what can legitimately form the basis of a finding?
Being an IC member is not simply about knowing the law. It is about applying the law to people, relationships, power dynamics, conflicting narratives and imperfect evidence.
